Security Officer - FT Nights/Evenings - St Paul/Minneapolis, MN
About The Position
American Security & Investigations is hiring full-time Security Officers for afternoon/evening and overnight shifts at downtown office locations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role is an essential position protecting buildings and facilities in the community. Officers patrol sites, investigate and report hazards or suspicious circumstances, secure doors and windows, enforce rules and regulations, and respond to alarms. Level 1 positions pay $18.90–$19.65 per hour. Level 2 positions require experience and pay $21.90 per hour. Retired law enforcement officers, military personnel, and corrections professionals are highly encouraged to apply. Previous security experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must meet physical requirements, including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.
- Level 2 positions require the ability to perform defensive tactical maneuvers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Retired law enforcement officers, military personnel, or corrections professionals are highly encouraged to apply.
