About The Position

The LIBRE Initiative is seeking a Regional Field Manager to identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role involves mobilizing these leaders to take action and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. LIBRE is rooted in the Hispanic community and focuses on advancing public policy solutions in areas such as immigration, healthcare, education, and economic development. The organization is part of Americans for Prosperity and the Stand Together philanthropic community.

Excitement to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for priority initiatives and endorsed candidates.
A valid driver's license.
Willingness to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Fluency in Spanish and English.
Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organization, and/or political campaigns.
Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently - or could become leaders - in their local communities, and motivate them to advocate for change.
Equip local leaders to advocate for changes consistent with LIBRE's principles by connecting them to training and resources.
Organize events for public engagement through phone calls, social media, and face-to-face neighborhood outreach.
Innovate by creating unique ways to reach people and educate them on public policy issues and initiatives.
Ensure regular contact with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active.
Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices.
