About The Position

The Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) is the senior facilities leader responsible for operational performance, asset health, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across a regional portfolio of properties. The role leads, scales, and governs facilities operations by establishing systems, standards, performance oversight, and facilities leadership development. It is not intended to supplement site staffing or serve as a regional technician. The RFM bridges site execution with regional and corporate strategy, with success measured by consistent facilities performance, capable Facilities Managers, and stable operations across the region. The position is based in Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina and requires regular travel to the assigned portfolio. The RFM leads regional facilities performance and standards; coaches and monitors Facilities Managers and site teams; implements workflows and SOPs; oversees preventive maintenance and asset planning; partners on budgeting and cost management; manages vendor and repair-project oversight; conducts structured site visits; and collaborates with Operations, Asset Management, Capital, and Human Resources. Hands-on intervention may be used for training, stabilization, or escalation, but should not replace site-level ownership and execution. The role requires the ability to walk properties, climb stairs, access roofs and mechanical areas, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more. It also requires availability for 24/7 emergency on-call response and work in outdoor, construction, and mechanical environments. The job description notes that duties and responsibilities may evolve with organizational and operational needs.

  • Maintain 24/7 on-call availability for emergency response.
