About The Position

EōS Fitness is seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Equipment Manager to oversee the safety, sanitation, and efficiency of gyms within their designated region. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive member experience by maintaining equipment functionality, cleanliness, and availability. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of equipment management experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Leadership/Management experience.
  • 1-2 years of vendor management experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of multi-unit management experience (may oversee up to 25 locations).
  • Technical skills in the repair and maintenance of equipment and physical buildings.
  • General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment.
  • Understanding and commitment to all aspects of customer service.
  • High standards regarding equipment function, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Strong detail orientation, systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving.
  • Good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Project coordination and scheduling abilities.
  • Vendor evaluation abilities (evaluate bids, estimates, and invoicing).
  • Diligence and a strong understanding of liability issues, general safety, and personal/public injury.
  • Ability to interpret budgets and provide recommendations.
  • Understanding of accounting/payroll departments and people management.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing equipment maintenance needs.
  • Computer literacy, extensive experience with CMMS systems and resource management.
  • Proficiency with software, financial software, and project management software.
  • OSHA Certified/Trained.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must maintain local, State, or Federal personal vehicle insurance minimums, whichever is greater.
  • Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, teach, mentor, and lead District Equipment Technicians both in-person and remotely.
  • Communicate effectively with Executive Leadership, Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, and Gym Operations personnel.
  • Identify, evaluate, establish, and maintain relationships with key outside vendors for equipment servicing.
  • Communicate and coordinate with external vendors for repairs, parts, and equipment.
  • Provide support for projects as needed.
  • Ensure management, completion, and closure of all OpenWrench tickets for the region.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized inventory for the region.
  • Complete required manufacturer certifications, which may involve out-of-state travel.
  • Ensure proper inventory and spare parts are available for quick resolution and repairs.
  • Complete required equipment checklists and inspections during gym visits.
  • Mentor and lead District Equipment Technicians in managing local equipment service vendors.
  • Partner with RVPOs to ensure gym staff are trained on proper ticket entry.
  • Partner with RVP/RFMs to ensure all equipment in the region meets organizational standards.
  • Support technicians with parts inventory and ordering, creating solutions to avoid downtime.
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring a clean and organized inventory.
  • Address concerns on social media platforms related to facilities maintenance (e.g., Yelp reviews, member comments/inquiries).
