About The Position

EōS Fitness is seeking a Regional Equipment Manager to support the overall success of gyms in their designated Region. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, sanitation, and efficiency of the gyms, contributing to financial success, employee experience, and member satisfaction. The Equipment Maintenance Team plays a vital role in ensuring members have an "uninterrupted" workout experience by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and fully functioning equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of equipment management experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Leadership/Management experience.
  • 1-2 years of vendor management experience.
  • Minimum of 1 -2 years of multi-unit management, the Regional Maintenance Manager may oversee up to 25 locations depending on the market.
  • Technical skills include general experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment and physical building.
  • General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment.
  • Understanding and commitment to all aspects of customer service.
  • High standards regarding equipment function, cleanliness and presentation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors, i.e., calm, professional, positive, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
  • Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • OSHA Certified/Trained.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required.
  • Must be able to pass background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must maintain local, State or Federal personal vehicle insurance minimums, whichever is greater.
  • Must maintain a clean motor vehicle record throughout employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple job locations.

  • Vendor evaluation abilities -- (evaluate bids, estimates and invoicing)
  • Diligence and a strong understanding of liability issues, general safety, and personal and/or public injury a must.
  • Financial -- Ability to interpret budgets and to provide recommendations.
  • Administration -- Understanding the function of the accounting/payroll departments and people management.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when identifying and assessing equipment maintenance needs.
  • Technology: computer literacy, extensive experience with CMMS systems and resource management
  • Utilize software, financial software, and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, teach, mentor and lead District Equipment Technicians in-person and remotely.
  • Communicate with Executive Leadership, Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Managers and Gym Operations personnel appropriately.
  • Identify, evaluate, establish, and maintain relationships with "key" outside vendors who will service our equipment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with any external vendors that will complete repairs, parts or equipment.
  • Provide support for projects as needed.
  • Ensure management, completion and closure of all OpenWrench tickets for region.
  • Manage maintaining a clean and organized inventory for region.
  • Complete required manufacturer certifications when available (may require out-of-state travel).
  • Ensure proper inventory and extra parts to ensure quick resolution and repairs.
  • Complete required equipment checklist and inspection upon all visits to gyms.
  • Mentor and lead District Equipment Technicians on managing local equipment service vendors.
  • Partner with RVPOs to ensure gym staff are trained on entering tickets properly.
  • Partner with RVP/RFMs to ensure all equipment in the region is up to organization standards.
  • Support technicians with parts inventory and ordering and create creative solutions to avoid down time.
  • Oversee and manage maintenance of company vehicle, maintaining a clean and organized inventory.
  • Address concerns on social media platforms as they relate to facilities maintenance (IE-yelp reviews, member comments/inquires).
