Requirements

2+ years of experience as a BCBA
Insurance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA, with the ability to apply these requirements appropriately.
Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership.
Demonstrated organizational, facilitation, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Strong collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively toward shared goals.
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
Excellent written communication skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness

Responsibilities

Manages assigned region including: workload distribution, assignment of responsibilities, maintaining quarterly regional data, conducting ongoing team meetings, team productivity & career progression
Review & auditing of packet submissions to insurance funders
Conduct peer reviews & appeal processes for authorization requests
Collaborate with Area Directors, Ops & clinical teams for case specific needs based on medical necessity criteria outlined by the funder.
