About The Position

Regional CDL-A driver for dedicated Family Dollar retail deliveries using 53-foot dry van trailers. Drivers deliver to customer locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The work is active and hands-on, including unloading trailers using rollers and frequent climbing in and out of trailers. Drivers are home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Start time is 6:00 AM, and shifts may last up to 14 hours. Days off vary based on freight demand and generally fall on weekdays. Drivers living in Las Vegas will typically stay out for two weeks, followed by three days at home. Compensation includes mileage pay and additional per-load pay, with an opportunity for a safe and on-time mileage bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Average annual pay is $100,386, average weekly pay is $1,950, top annual pay is $126,252, and top weekly pay is $2,450. Company-provided equipment includes tandem-axle sleeper trucks with modern automatic transmissions.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
Must not be an SAP driver.
Must be comfortable unloading freight with rollers and climbing in and out of trailers.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of active delivery work.

Responsibilities

Deliver retail freight to customer locations across AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NE, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, and WY.
Unload trailers using rollers.
Perform active, hands-on delivery work, including frequent climbing in and out of trailers.
