About The Position

The Regional Accountant I promotes good public relations and customer service among Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) Financial Services staff and all individuals having business with this office. This role assists financial services staff assigned to a region to comply with policies of the National Office and AGWM policies. The position provides counsel and guidance on complex and sensitive issues involved in the financial activities of the region. The Regional Accountant I continually strives to streamline the work flow process, consulting with the manager regarding feasibility and conformity to audit controls, IRS regulations, and AGWM. The role involves becoming familiar with and gaining expertise in all related AGWM computer programs. Responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring individual, ministry, and work accounts, including opening and closing of accounts, processing various reports, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all sensitive areas.

Requirements

Accounting degree (or equivalent experience) required.
PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
General office skills.
Accounting and bookkeeping skills.
Data entry.
Customer service.
