About The Position

The Regional Account Coordinator will handle operational queries amongst branches, agents, and clients, manage shipping quotes and freight rate management, and ensure shipping processes are adhered to and systems are kept up to date. This role involves monitoring operational excellence to meet KPIs, including OTP, Data quality, EDI, and Billings. The coordinator will also develop and maintain good relationships with clients, provide insights to account owners, and generate necessary reports. Additionally, they will propose continuous improvements for planning and logistics KPIs, follow up on logistics issues and claims, and support ad hoc logistics tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Management, Engineering, Transportation, or associate field).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding and logistics (domestic or international freight forwarding) required.
General knowledge of Imports/ Exports/ Contract Logistics/ Customs/ Rate.
Proficient in programs used for email, word processing, data manipulation (excel spread sheets), power point presentation, and general internet skills.
Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information.
Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement.
Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems.
Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally.
Candidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team.
Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor the operational excellence to meet KPI, including OTP, Data quality, EDI, Billings
Call out irregularities to account owner when needed
Develop and maintain good relationships with client to provide insight to account owner
Statistical understanding and generating necessary reports internally/externally
Propose continuous improvements for the planning and logistics KPIs
Follow up logistics issues and claims to any operational abnormality
Support continuous logistics ad hoc tasks
