About The Position

The Region Manager Medical Staff Services NW helps organizational leadership and medical staff committees streamline operations and oversees credentialing and privileging to support the appointment of highly qualified professionals in full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The role directs daily operations, including credentialing, provider enrollment, and malpractice insurance management; leads, coaches, and evaluates support staff; and serves as a strategic liaison to the CMO and governance committees to drive process improvements and organizational integration. Success requires extensive knowledge of Medical Staff Office requirements and regulatory standards, along with diplomacy and leadership skills to build consensus across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and four years of related work experience demonstrating requisite job knowledge and abilities, including two years in a supervisor or management capacity; equivalent directly related qualifying work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification upon hire.
• Extensive knowledge of Medical Staff Office requirements and regulatory standards.
• Diplomacy and leadership skills to build consensus across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
