This is an entry level position designed to aid and assist the rail unit swap operation. Successful candidates will comply with customer and regulatory requirements including but not limited to E-RailSafe certification and EPA standards. Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing work that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

Requirements

Aptitude in a technical and mechanical role and willingness to learn.
May work in extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
Coordinate tools, resources and equipment to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Active listening skills, oral/written comprehension and commitment to perform quality service.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
E-RailSafe certification and EPA standards.

Responsibilities

Removal/installation of Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs).
Removal/installation of solar panels, digital fuel flow meters, telematics systems.
Keeps equipment working by following operational instructions and adheres to OSHA standards.
Demonstrates ability to work with other team members and to learn from experienced technicians.
Keeps work area clean and free of clutter.
Wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and is compliant with safety procedures.
Promotes and adheres to safety culture for self and others.
Participates in training and educational opportunities provided by the company; classroom and/or on-the-job training.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
