About The Position
We are currently seeking 1-Ton Truck & Trailer Drivers to start ASAP, based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. This role involves operating a 1-ton truck and trailer for hauling equipment and materials, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience hauling with truck & trailer
- Strong understanding of load securement and safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient English language skills required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Clean 5 year driver’s abstract required
- Required tickets: CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015
Responsibilities
- Operating a 1-ton truck & trailer for hauling equipment and materials
- Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Securing loads using chains, straps, and binders
- Ensuring compliance with safe hauling practices and weight limits
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer
- Coordinating with site teams to meet delivery schedules
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and work area
