Tractor Trailer Refrigeration Technician
About The Position
Fleet Repair Solutions, a leader in medium-to heavy-duty fleet service, is looking for skilled Tractor Trailer Refrigeration Technicians with trailer repair experience in Pottsville, PA. This role involves diagnosing and repairing tractor-trailer refrigeration units, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and conducting routine telematics repairs and inspections. The technician will accurately track and document repairs using the company's computer system and perform inspections and repairs from a service truck using powered industrial equipment.
Requirements
- Transport Refrigeration experience is required
- Trailer repair experience and ability to perform DOT inspection is required
- 608 Certification is required
- Ability to read and understand complex schematics and diagrams
- Ability to diagnose and repair units using alarm codes
- A clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- A CDL is preferred but not required
- Welding experience with steel and aluminum is a plus
