A CDL A Driver at White Cap coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds, potentially using a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations, a strong emphasis on safety, accurate paperwork, and may involve assisting warehouse staff.

Requirements

• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.

Nice To Haves

• A Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Performs other duties as needed.
