About The Position
Provides a direct link between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies. Coordinates referral process from primary care providers as well as pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by provider.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payers.
- Proficient in use of computers.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates referral process from primary care providers.

- Acts as a liaison between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies.
