About The Position

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) provides home-based Durable Medical Equipment, Respiratory, Home Health, and Home Infusion services through a network of Medicare- and Medicaid-certified and accredited providers. The Referral Coordinator handles intake of orders for healthcare services and serves as a liaison among IHCS, patients, and health plans. The role includes verifying patient and insurance information, processing authorizations and referrals, obtaining and releasing clinical documentation, responding to health plan inquiries, and researching and resolving patient accounts or escalating them for resolution. Candidates will be considered for a schedule that aligns with their availability and current staffing needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of intake referral experience within Home Health.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish skills.
• Certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake of orders for healthcare services.
