About The Position
Baptist Medical Center MD Anderson is hiring a full-time Referral Coordinator for its Patient Access Services Department at the Baptist MD Anderson Downtown location in Jacksonville, Florida. The department helps MD Anderson patients navigate their medical process by coordinating schedules and confirming appointments. The team works closely with patients and providers in an office setting. The team includes two individuals performing check-ins and six to ten performing check-outs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role provides referral assistance to physicians, patients, and insurance companies; maintains medical documentation; schedules appointments; and processes prescriptions and referrals. A high school diploma is required. The posting offers up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
