About The Position

DTID is seeking organised, proactive and people-focused Recruitment / Human Capital Coordinators to support the delivery of recruitment and wider human capital activities across the organisation. Working within the Human Capital and Administration Division (HCAD), successful candidates will provide coordination and administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, helping ensure that recruitment activities are organised, timely, consistent and aligned with DTID's recruitment procedures. The role involves regular engagement with candidates, hiring managers, Directorate and Divisional teams and other DTID members. This role requires strong organisation, communication, attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to work effectively within an international, volunteer-led and fully remote organisation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recruitment platform such as Workable, or another HR information system would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge or interest in climate change, sustainability, international development, digital technology and emerging technologies would also be advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Human Capital Management, Business Administration, Management, Organisational Development, Psychology or another relevant discipline.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or training in recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition or human capital management would be advantageous.
  • Equivalent professional experience, practical experience or demonstrated capability may also be considered where appropriate.
  • Knowledge of an additional international language would be advantageous.
  • Experience using recruitment systems or Applicant Tracking Systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience within an international organisation, think tank, nonprofit organisation, research institution, technology organisation, climate or sustainability-focused organisation would also be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative activities throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support the Recruitment Manager and wider HCAD team with recruitment activities.
  • Assist with the preparation, publication and administration of vacancies.
  • Support candidate application screening and recruitment records management.
  • Coordinate written assessments, interviews and other selection activities.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate arrangements with candidates and interview panels.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment information within DTID's recruitment systems.
  • Monitor recruitment processes and follow up on outstanding actions to ensure agreed timelines are met.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Liaise with hiring managers and DTID members regarding recruitment procedures, requirements and progress.
  • Support the preparation of recruitment correspondence, documentation and reports.
  • Assist with candidate onboarding and related human capital administrative activities.
  • Support compliance with DTID recruitment procedures, confidentiality requirements and applicable data-protection principles.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate pools and recruitment documentation.
  • Support recruitment-related reporting and data collection.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment and human capital processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams, Directorates and Divisions across DTID.
  • Provide general administrative support to HCAD where required.
  • Undertake other reasonable responsibilities relevant to the role as assigned by the reporting manager or HCAD leadership.
