About The Position

Silver Lining Home Healthcare is seeking a motivated, people-focused Recruitment & Employment Specialist to attract, hire, onboard, and retain caregivers throughout Delaware. The role focuses on building relationships with candidates, supporting employee engagement, and helping meet organizational staffing needs. It is onsite in Wilmington, Delaware, with one day per week in Dover, and follows a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, healthcare, home care, or customer service.
Experience interviewing, onboarding, and engaging employees.
Knowledge of employment documentation and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, and networking events.
Screen, interview, and select candidates who align with the company’s values and culture.
Manage hiring from initial candidate contact through onboarding.
Conduct new-hire orientation and create a welcoming onboarding experience.
Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
Monitor turnover trends and assist with retention strategies.
Foster a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Maintain employee files and onboarding documentation.
Coordinate background checks, screenings, and hiring requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate recruitment and personnel records.
Partner with leadership to meet staffing goals.
Assist with recruiting events and community outreach efforts.
Respond to staffing needs and support operational priorities as needed.
