About The Position

The Recruiting Representative serves as the first point of contact for new hires within the Talent Acquisition office, with a primary focus on fingerprinting and background check processing. This role ensures all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and efficiently while providing a professional and welcoming experience for candidates.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in performing fingerprinting
  • Experience with background check systems, specifically the Mississippi background check system
  • Knowledge of state and company regulations regarding fingerprinting and background checks
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes
  • Experience with HRIS systems, specifically Oracle, for auditing new hire files
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data submission and record keeping

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front desk representative for the Talent Acquisition office, greeting and assisting new hires
  • Perform fingerprinting for all incoming employees and accurately submit data into the Mississippi background check system
  • Ensure all fingerprinting records and submissions are completed in compliance with state and company regulations
  • Direct new hires to Security and other departments as part of the onboarding process
  • Collect and review background documentation and pre-employment paperwork
  • Assist candidates with questions regarding pre-boarding and onboarding requirements
  • Audit new hire files in Oracle to ensure completeness and accuracy
