About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting initiatives across the organization. This role recruits and evaluates candidates, advises hiring managers, and guides candidates through the hiring process. The Recruiter develops recruiting strategies, promotes job advertisements, and builds a strong talent pipeline. The position is part of an established, collaborative HR team at St. Luke’s, a family-owned ophthalmic practice serving Florida’s Gulf Coast region and The Villages.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting.
Familiarity with job boards and networking sites.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of confidential information.
Friendly, professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated.
Strong time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service throughout the candidate experience, from interview to offer.
Manage the hiring process, including sourcing and interviewing applicants, scheduling interviews for hiring managers, obtaining references, preparing and sending job offers, and completing background screenings.
Advise hiring managers on offer terms.
Communicate and work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Assist managers with on-site interviews.
Draft, update, and post job advertisements.
Participate in job fairs.
Schedule, promote, and facilitate on-site job fairs.
Identify new applicant sources.
Create job descriptions for current and new positions.
Manage the applicant tracking system.
Manage internal job postings.
Maintain the HRIS database, including new hires, reviews, and pay changes.
Create and maintain employee files.
Assist with intranet posts for the HR page and company announcements.
Assist with planning and participate in employee events.
Complete credentialing queries for MDs, PAs, CRNAs, and APRNs.
