About The Position

The Recruiter works with the management team to support operational needs and serves as an initial point of contact for employees, representing the company culture. The role is responsible for interviewing, supporting candidate selection, and onboarding new employees. It also involves recruiting events and ensuring hiring practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organization and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation tactics.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to recruitment and hiring.
• Ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• High school diploma.
• Two years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Two years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job postings and advertising.
• Screen applications and select qualified candidates using a skills matrix.
• Schedule candidate interviews and oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring materials.
• Assist with interviews, including conducting them independently and with managers, directors, and other staff.
• Collaborate with managers and human resources staff during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
• Complete onboarding tasks, including screenings, personnel file creation, I-9, and eligibility verification.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
• Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
