About The Position

As a Recruiter at Baxter, you will deliver excellence throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle for individual assignments and larger-scale recruitment projects. You will collaborate closely with decision makers, Talent Acquisition colleagues, and HR Business Partners to drive quality outcomes and ensure efficient hiring. The role includes advising Hiring Managers and HR with market intelligence, supporting recruitment strategies and talent pipelines, and representing Baxter’s compensation philosophy and employer brand. You will be part of a global Talent Acquisition team and a local HR team, with access to recruiting tools, technology, and training.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of experience in agency or corporate recruiting or an HR role.
Familiarity with the end-to-end recruitment process and ability to conduct a recruitment strategy meeting successfully.
Experience partnering with the business to create effective sourcing, pipelining, and requisition-development strategies.
Introductory knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, including data accuracy, candidate-stage tracking, and timely candidate communication.
Confidence sourcing for multiple searches and supporting several Hiring Managers simultaneously.
Understanding of the importance of a positive candidate experience, including timely updates, transparent feedback, and a consistent process.
Basic knowledge of compensation structures and philosophy, including benefits and bonuses, and ability to communicate compensation packages to stakeholders and candidates.

Responsibilities

Lead recruiting activities through to successful hire, with a strong focus on direct candidate identification and talent sourcing.
Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop impactful advertising and drive engagement through social media, talent identification, headhunting, and proactive referral solicitation.
Provide Hiring Managers and HR with relevant market intelligence and recruiting insights as a trusted advisor.
Deliver an engaging candidate experience by understanding candidate motivators and adapting to different situations.
Challenge and influence stakeholders to support effective screening, slate presentation, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
Accurately represent Baxter’s total compensation philosophy during offer negotiations.
Coach candidates on preparing for selection stages and provide timely feedback in accordance with local legislation and recruitment methodologies.
Lead and update requisitions accurately through completion, including real-time system updates.
Identify and raise risk or compliance issues.
Work with the business to understand critical and repeatable roles and advise on talent-pipelining strategy.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of Baxter and its business.
Assess and analyze recruitment activity to support discussions about volumes, performance, and forecasting.
Participate in continuous improvement projects.
