The Recruiter plays a key role in helping Rocket Carwash grow by attracting and hiring top talent across all locations. This position leads full-cycle recruiting efforts—from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews—while delivering a fast, engaging, and positive candidate experience. This role also supports onboarding and pre-employment processes, ensures compliance with company standards and applicable laws, and maintains accurate candidate tracking. As a brand ambassador, the Recruiter brings the Rocket Carwash culture to life, helping build strong talent pipelines and teams that drive our continued success.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR role (high-volume or multi-location recruiting experience is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with candidates and create a positive experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and open roles simultaneously
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HR systems (Paycor or similar platforms preferred)
  • Understanding of basic employment laws and hiring compliance requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams while maintaining a high level of accountability and follow-through
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and tracking habits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HR team to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across all Rocket Carwash locations
  • Source and attract qualified candidates using job boards, social media, campus outreach, and community engagement
  • Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, alignment, and culture fit
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview scheduling with hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience
  • Initiate and monitor background checks and pre-employment requirements in compliance with company standards and local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Provide regular updates to HR team on candidate status and recruitment process
  • Lead onboarding efforts, including new hire communication, paperwork completion, and orientation support
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the interviewing and hiring processes
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Rocket Carwash by clearly communicating our mission, culture, and impact to candidates
  • Support employer branding initiatives, including job postings, social media content, and recruitment marketing efforts
  • Assist with on-campus recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach to build strong talent pipelines
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking and documentation within applicant tracking systems and HR systems
  • Partner with HR to conduct regular personnel audits and ensure employee records are complete and compliant
  • Provide support on various HR projects, initiatives, and process improvements as needed
