Our Recruiters represent Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) at a wide range of recruitment and marketing events, including college fairs, high schools, transfer schools, community events, expos, festivals, special projects and official university functions—both on and off campus. The primary purpose of this position is to recruit prospective students, counsel them and their families on educational opportunities at ENMU and support them throughout the admissions and transition process. This role involves individual and group information sessions, territory management, assisting with general recruitment and admissions office duties and collaborative efforts to develop marketing strategies and enrollment plans. The position will work closely with other departments to facilitate the successful transition of new students to the University. The position requires regular travel (individual and group) throughout the recruitment cycle, with the heaviest periods occurring in September through November and then again February through May (approximately 8-10 weeks each period), of targeted travel. Summer activities include assisting the Advising Center with first year registration for first-time-in-college students.
