Ensure that qualified applicants are forwarded on to hiring managers and appropriately interviewed. Ensure that all pre-assessments are completed and scored in a timely manner. Work effectively with other Human Resources and Employee Health team members. Schedule new hires for pre-employment screenings and pre-employment payroll processing. Facilitate New Employee Orientation programs, rotating with fellow HR team members. Ensure that all new hire information is gathered in advance of adding documentation into the HRIS system. Responsible for completing quarterly START report for submission to Corporate. Serve as Administrator for the START program, training applicable managers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field of study preferred. Or ability to obtain Bachelor's degree in HR or related field within 3 years. Or 3+ years of recruitment experience (eg recruiting, sourcing) HR experience or industry experience related.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recruitment experience (minimum of five (5) years if no degree).
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, acute care and/or hospital system strongly preferred.
  • At least one of the following certifications strongly preferred: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Certified Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR), Certified Health Care Recruiter (CHCR), Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with a wide variety of applicants and customers.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions based on relevant information available.
  • Must be self motivated, and able to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
  • Proficient with computer to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Strong understanding of applicable recruitment skills, HR policies and procedures, as well as Federal and state laws applicable to designated geographic Market recruitment areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting, acute care and/or hospital system strongly preferred.
