About The Position

This is not a typical recruiting role. At BHC, the recruiter is a steward of our standards and a trusted talent advisor who helps shape the culture, quality, and guest experience of the organization. This role carries meaningful influence and is central to team building. The ideal candidate believes hiring is a consequential decision and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping those decisions. BHC is a purpose-driven collection of hotels, restaurants, and cultural landmarks in Charleston, South Carolina, operating The Charleston Place, The Cooper, and Sorelle, among other ventures. The people who work here are the experience, and every hire impacts the organization's standards. The recruiter is responsible for identifying, assessing, and advocating for talent, making this one of the most important roles in the company.
