About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is one of New York's leading concierge home care providers, delivering exceptional one-on-one care to clients throughout the region. As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team. If you're passionate about finding top talent, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we'd love to hear from you. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Home Health Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses. You'll play a key role in helping us attract, hire, and onboard exceptional caregivers who embody our commitment to quality care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required
- Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience in home care or healthcare staffing
- Experience recruiting HHAs, LPNs, and RNs required
- Strong sourcing and recruiting skills using job boards, social media, and community networking
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred
Responsibilities
- Recruit, source, and hire Home Health Aides (HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Create and manage job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews to identify qualified candidates
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process and collect all required employment documentation
- Ensure compliance with New York State regulations and Affirmed Home Care hiring standards
- Represent Affirmed Home Care at job fairs, career events, schools, and community recruiting initiatives
- Assist with new hire orientation and provide a positive onboarding experience
- Promote employee referral programs and other recruiting initiatives
- Meet weekly hiring goals while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality
