About The Position

Unique Industries is seeking a Recruiter/Sr. Recruiter to work in the Blairs, Virginia office. The Recruiter/Sr. Recruiter will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for all warehouse operations positions, partnering with hiring managers to attract, identify, and hire top talent while building strong candidate pipelines and supporting strategic talent acquisition initiatives. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates; developing and maintaining university and temporary staffing agency partnerships; coordinating career fairs and hiring events; managing recruitment advertising; and implementing effective recruiting strategies, selection tools, and processes to ensure the timely hiring of high-quality talent.

Requirements

  • Experience with an applicant tracking systems (ADP Workforce Now) preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, demonstrate a sense of urgency and initiative, follow up skills, and attention to detail
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • The Recruiter/Sr. Recruiter job title will be assigned based on the candidate background and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred and highly desired
  • At least 1-3 years of high volume recruitment experience including practices, tools and techniques is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Administer full-cycle recruitment process for all vacant Exempt/Non-Exempt positions at the Company’s Virginia Operations. May occasionally support other Unique sites
  • Build and execute a recruiting plan that attracts a diverse candidate pool that fits the profile of the Company's core competencies
  • Assist internal clients with all staffing needs (sourcing strategy, developing job descriptions, sourcing execution, interviewing, candidate closing and negotiations, etc.)
  • Source, screen, qualify, and verify candidates in line with open position objectives utilizing ADP Workforce Now (ATS) and social media tools
  • Interview potential candidates and liaise with hiring managers to arrange phone screens, meetings/interviews, including preparation and debriefing of candidates
  • Manage the efforts of search firms, setting expectations, negotiating terms and communicating the progress to the internal client
  • Take a lead role in administration and maintenance of the ATS
  • Devise and implement improvements to enhance the capabilities of staffing
  • Analyze recruiting metrics and strategies, and recommend changes as appropriate, to create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process, reduce overall time-to-fill, and improve qualify of hire
