About The Position

We are looking for a high ownership Recruiter to help build the team that will define the future of water autonomy. This role is not just about filling roles, it's about building the company. You will work directly with founders, engineers, and leaders to identify, attract, and close the kind of talent that changes industries. You will play a critical role in shaping the team that builds Vital Lyfe. We are looking for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and is excited to help build a company from the ground up. Requirements

1-2 years of recruiting experience, including full-cycle recruiting
Experience working in an applicant tracking system (ATS)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
A genuine people person who builds trust quickly
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a growing, changing environment
Self starter mindset with strong follow through and good judgment
Positive, solutions oriented approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
Ability to operate independently in fast-moving environments
Ability to work 100% onsite in Torrance, CA (remote or hybrid work will not be considered)

Nice To Haves

Experience recruiting for engineering, hardware, or technical roles
Experience at high-growth startups or rapidly scaling companies
Comfort working directly with founders and senior leadership
Track record of identifying and closing high-impact talent
Creative sourcing techniques and strong candidate engagement skills

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles
Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and define candidate profiles
Partner with interviewers to design effective interview processes and evaluation frameworks
Source, screen, and engage candidates through multiple channels
Coordinate interviews and keep the process moving smoothly and efficiently
Maintain accurate candidate data and recruiting workflows in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Ensure a thoughtful candidate experience from first contact through offer
Support offer development, reference checks, and pre-employment steps as needed
Help improve recruiting processes, workflows, and overall talent operations as we scale
Act as a strong ambassador for the company and our culture throughout the hiring process
Continuously build strong talent pipelines ahead of hiring demand
