About The Position

MaxAI is building the infrastructure for healthcare billing, focusing on ensuring medical practices get paid. As an early-stage, fast-growing company, we are seeking a People Operations Specialist to help scale our team efficiently and sustainably across various functions. This role will own the entire recruiting cycle, from sourcing to pre-onboarding, serving as the primary point of contact for candidates and representing MaxAI.

Requirements

2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in startups or fast-growing SMEs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in interviewing.
Proficiency with various recruiting software and platforms.
Ability to take full ownership of work and collaborate effectively with team members.
This is an in-office position at our NYC office (Herald Square).

Responsibilities

Source, advertise, and build talent pipelines for diverse roles including engineering, medical billing/coding, and operations.
Conduct initial communication and screening interviews to assess overall skill and cultural fit.
Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, from sourcing to pre-onboarding, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and the internal team.
Serve as the main point of contact for candidates and internal teams, providing communication, advice, and leading necessary changes in recruiting efforts.
Track recruiting outcomes and gather feedback to implement timely improvements.
Create and update team marketing materials to attract talent.
