The Recruiter I is responsible for implementing recruitment strategies that increase girl and adult membership and expand awareness of Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (GSTOP) within an assigned geographic area. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position serves as a community ambassador by building relationships with prospective members, volunteers, schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the value and impact of the Girl Leadership Experience. The Recruiter I supports membership growth by conducting community outreach, generating and nurturing leads, facilitating membership opportunities, and connecting girls and volunteers to meaningful Girl Scout experiences. This position collaborates with regional staff, volunteers, schools, businesses, and community partners to increase participation, strengthen community presence, and advance regional membership goals. GSTOP prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, access, and racial justice to ensure delivery of the highest quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience for all girls. The Recruiter I champions these values through community engagement, relationship building, and recruitment efforts that expand equitable access to Girl Scouting and foster inclusive participation throughout the Council. The Recruiter I exercises judgment within the scope of assigned responsibilities and collaborates with the Regional Manager on matters impacting membership growth, community engagement, recruitment initiatives, and regional priorities. Through community outreach, lead cultivation, relationship building, and member recruitment activities, this position contributes to positive member experiences and sustainable membership growth.
