We are currently seeking qualified and energetic candidates to fill the role of Recreation Assistant at the Greensboro Sportsplex. This position will be responsible for daily operations including, but not limited to; greeting and directing patrons, answering calls, collecting daily fees, payments, and forms, set-up/cleaning for facility rentals, directing athletic tournaments, and assisting with facility programs. The selected applicant must possess great communication skills to ensure the highest level of customer service, have knowledge of safe work practices, ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions. The physical requirements of the job include but are not limited to: walking, standing, sitting for extended times, jogging, running and jumping for the purpose of instructing/leading recreation programs, lifting up to 30 lbs and operating assigned equipment and vehicles. Must have reliable transportation and work as scheduled. Work schedule consists of evening and weekends including longer hours during tournament season. This job is Non-Exempt under FLSA.
