In the United Nations Impact Program, Crimson students build social impact projects aligned to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and attend one of the UN’s major global conferences. Students learn to translate global policy into local action, and get the opportunity to connect with leaders and peers in their areas of interest. We are seeking a dedicated candidate with prior experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or Research Assistant (RA) to join us as a Conference Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that students get the most from their conference experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day well-being, safeguarding, and logistical supervision of our delegation. This is a non-residential role based in New York. Current students studying IR, politics, global health, or other related fields with some knowledge of the UN are encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in applicants who have some experience attending UN events. This role is to be added to a roster of Conference Assistants that Crimson Education is building. Based on availability, Assistants will be contacted with requests to support specific dates. Please indicate any limitations to your availability in your application (including anticipated months you would not be available to work, and if/when you plan to leave New York and/or projected year of graduation). The role will generally be non-residential, however some additional residential support may be required. This will be compensated accordingly.
