About The Position

The Recovery Specialist I provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served and is consistent with recovery-centered care principles. The role is with Telecare Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness, which provides intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming setting for adults needing continued stabilization and recovery support.

The program uses Telecare’s Recovery-Centered Clinical System (RCCS), incorporating trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and innovative design. RCCS emphasizes choice-making, harm reduction, “no-force first” practices, and supporting individuals in building independence and self-responsibility so they can recover and transition home or to a less restrictive community setting. Staff support residents within their cultural dynamics, and therapies and activities are adapted to individual needs and preferences.

This is a full-time position scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The expected starting wage range is $17.13–$20.61, with a full wage range up to $24.12. Pay is geographically adjusted, and starting pay depends on relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to behavioral health issues and multicultural populations, through family relationships, volunteering, previous experience, coursework, or similar exposure.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle insurance listing the applicant as a driver.
• Willingness to use a personal vehicle to attend meetings and other activities.
