The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate a full caseload of Recovery Court Drug Treatment and/or Mental Health Court clients. North Carolina Recovery Courts is a judicially supervised intervention program that assists individuals in navigating the court system while addressing substance use and/or mental health disorders, connecting participants with services that promote a healthy, law-abiding lifestyle. The Case Coordinator position is responsible for providing comprehensive case management to 10–25 participants throughout the 9-month to 2-year program cycle. Duties include assessing eligibility, conducting intake interviews, identifying service needs, and coordinating access to treatment, housing, transportation, family support, life skills development, and employment resources. The position also requires attending weekly court sessions, managing drug testing procedures, advocating on behalf of participants, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support program decisions. The Case Coordinator reports to a supervisor who provides administrative oversight and guidance.
