Case Manager - Therapeutic Courts

About The Position

JAMHI Health & Wellness, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven and dedicated Case Manager to help clients navigate through Juneau Therapeutic Courts and/or ReEntry (Reducing Recidivism). The Case Manager will manage their time well to provide in-person care and be able to attend multiple meetings at Lemon Creek Correctional Center, Juneau Therapeutic Courts, and others. They will be comfortable in assisting with urine drug screens, if necessary. The Case Manager will be proficient in setting professional boundaries while still being empathetic and friendly toward clients, and will demonstrate unconditional positive regard for people in all different walks of life and will meet and support clients where they are.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• One year of experience providing direct service in the field of human services
• Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with current state regulation requirements
• Valid Alaska driver's license
• Ability to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier

Nice To Haves

• Personal experience with addiction and recovery, including experience with the court system.
• Providing direct services with persons experiencing severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
