The Recovery Coordinator II is responsible for performing general warehouse activities. This includes conducting 100% quality control checks in receiving locations for high shrink and breakdown merchandise, as well as on outbound, laydown, storage, and cigarette merchandise. The role involves continuously auditing picking locations, ensuring all club shipping lanes are audited and merchandise is accounted for before manifesting club loads. Additionally, the coordinator will investigate and document all discrepancies, photograph vendor non-compliance, research and resolve overages, shortages, and damages on inbound receipts, and create systemic VCBs for merchandise returns, salvage, or destruction. The position also requires verifying timely faxing of freight claims to the Home Office Financial Control department, isolating and documenting salvageable freight, coordinating with salvage vendors, and resolving discrepancies in VCB processing locations.
