About The Position

Steno is seeking a Records Retrieval Manager to lead their team. This role is an operational extension of senior leadership, working directly alongside the Senior Director to take ownership of day-to-day team leadership and drive the department's evolution. The position combines people leadership with process innovation, focusing on developing and holding a team accountable while building systems for operational advancement. The ideal candidate will have experience in records retrieval operations and a desire to evolve workflows towards AI-powered, tech-enabled solutions. This is a hands-on role where the manager is expected to step in when needed, quality check cases, conduct 1:1s, and review work in real-time.

Requirements

• 4+ years in records retrieval with firsthand experience.
• Hands-on experience with online medical records request portals such as Datavant or MRO.
• 2+ years managing remote teams.
• Hands-on and solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to cover for absent team members without hesitation.

• Demonstrated interest in AI tools and workflow automation.
