About The Position

The ETSU Office of the Registrar invites applications for a full-time Records Analyst 2. The Records Analyst 2 provides key support functions within the Registrar’s Office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students regarding academic records, transcripts, and registration. Core responsibilities include managing daily operations at the records counter and helpline, processing transcript and data requests, and maintaining academic records in our student information system. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to train others. You will play a critical role in supporting the student’s experience from admission through graduation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of office experience and/or customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard computer and software packages (Microsoft Word and Excel preferred).
  • Skills in developing, organizing, managing, and executing detailed processes and workflows.
  • Skills in time management and prioritizing workload.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of people in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to extract relevant information from conversations and/or documents.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new registration software.
  • Ability to produce work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to proofread, collect, and compile data materials about registration.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of FERPA-protected information.
  • Ability to problem-solve while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies consistently.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of university support service operations
  • Knowledge of university policies, procedures, structures, and services offered
  • Two years of college education/Associate’s Degree.
  • Two years of related clerical or secretarial experience and two years of experience in a customer service position.
  • Experience working in higher education or a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with end-of-term or general office processes.
