The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, growers, and employees at our facility. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Receptionist will manage incoming calls, greet guests, and support office operations to ensure smooth daily activities.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills (required).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and typing proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to varying workloads and effectively multitask and prioritize as demands change.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, including clear communication, appropriate tone, and a polished, welcoming presence as the first point of contact for the company.
  • Dependable and punctual.

Nice To Haves

  • some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and telephone systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, and ensure timely follow-up on voicemail messages.
  • Manage the visitor sign-in process in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain and organize office supply inventory, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining shared office calendars, as directed.
  • Support office operations through tasks such as filing, data entry, copying, and other basic administrative support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
