Old Dominion Freight Line is currently recruiting for a Service Center Receptionist to join our OD Family Culture. Our Receptionist will successfully ensure that external and internal visitors have a friendly, professional greeting and a good first impression of the Service Center. Provide excellent customer service that represents OD professionally in a diverse environment.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
1 year of office experience, preferably in the transportation industry
Proficiency Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Screen visitors and allow facility access or notify employee of their presence
Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and sign for incoming packages
Answer incoming calls in a prompt and courteous manner on a multi-line telephone
File and respond to emails in a timely manner
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
