About The Position

The Receptionist CHC Float serves as an introduction to Clinica Sierra Vista and is principally responsible for helping ensure the smooth flow of patients throughout the clinic’s services. The role requires someone who can work independently, prioritize activities, and respect patient confidentiality. The receptionist greets patients, directs them to appropriate departments, answers questions about clinic policies and procedures, explains the clinic’s health services and programs, and completes registration and check-in tasks for Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Optometry. The position also requires reasonable and predictable in-person attendance.

Requirements

Customer service experience.
High school diploma.
Ability to function independently and prioritize activities.
Adherence to Clinica Sierra Vista employee health and immunization requirements, or submission of a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients as they arrive.
Assist and direct patients to the appropriate department.
Answer patient questions regarding Clinica Sierra Vista policies and procedures.
Explain the role of Clinica Sierra Vista health services and programs.
Complete patient registration as needed, including enrolling patients in the MyChart portal.
Complete patient check-in for Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Optometry.
Maintain reasonable and predictable in-person attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager or District Administrator.
Respect the confidentiality of patients’ problems.
