About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Logistics and Fulfillment Professional supports the daily operation of the store by carrying out merchandise receiving, logistics, and fulfillment functions according to company standards. Responsibilities may include preparing and packing merchandise for shipment, fulfilling customer orders, unpacking and censoring new receipts, executing markdowns, and returning goods to vendors. The role requires speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork to support business results. The position is seasonal and part-time at the Soho location. The associate may greet customers on the selling floor, process new receipts, pick merchandise for fulfillment, apply packing policies, and participate in logistical initiatives. The role also supports the store during major events. The position involves prolonged standing and walking, may require reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision, and includes frequent use of computers and other technology. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourceful self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team, and can adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk around the store or department for prolonged periods.
May need to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, and have color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor.
Support and administer new receipt processing according to company standards.
Search for and pick merchandise from the selling floor and stock rooms for all fulfillment types.
Learn and apply packing policies and techniques to ensure packages reach customers in excellent condition.
Participate in logistical initiatives, including returns to vendors (RTVs), CDTs, price changes, damages and salvages, and job outs.
Embrace and become proficient with technology.
Support the store during big-day events.
