About The Position

The Receiving Operator coordinates the receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials while supporting manufacturing departments. The role uses power industrial vehicles throughout the shift, including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck.

A typical shift includes receiving deliveries, completing paperwork, unloading trucks, and staging or storing materials in the facility. The operator also responds to requests from the Filling and Milling departments to pull and stage materials for production. The role maintains a clean and safe workspace and dock area, and completes scheduled cycle counts to help keep raw-material inventory accurate using a scan gun and/or tablet.

Requirements

• Completed high school education.
• Confidence navigating basic computer systems.
• Dedication to safety.
• Ability to lift individual paint cans or cases weighing up to 75 lbs several times throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness and ability to complete training and obtain forklift certification if not already experienced or certified.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience.
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and complete the appropriate paperwork.
• Unload trucks and stage or store received materials within the facility.
• Use reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck to move materials.
• Pull and stage materials for the Filling and Milling departments as needed for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dock area.
• Complete scheduled cycle counts of raw materials using a scan gun and/or tablet.
• Lift individual paint cans or cases of four cans weighing up to 75 lbs several times throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Starting pay of $18.50 per hour, with a $0.50 per hour increase after six months and another $0.50 per hour increase after one year.
