About The Position
Prairie Meadows Casino Racetrack and Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving and Distribution Clerk to join its receiving and distribution team. The role involves monitoring shipments and processing orders in the warehouse. The schedule is 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, with days off Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Pay is $17.00 per hour, with options to receive pay daily, weekly, or biweekly.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse and inventory experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Strong math skills and high attention to detail are a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for eight-hour periods.
- Ability to lift 90 pounds and push carts up to 150 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse and inventory experience.
- Experience operating various warehouse equipment, pallet trucks, and hand jacks.
- Strong math skills and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Store products correctly and follow rotation procedures and protocols.
- Check invoices and purchase orders by count and item upon delivery.
- Verify received products and distribute them to designated areas.
