About The Position
The Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving merchandise and supporting the completion of receiving reports when required. The role maintains receiving-department standards for organization, cleanliness, safe forklift operation, safe product placement, product protection, and cold-chain handling. Responsibilities also include securing and organizing the dock, processing receiving and shipment paperwork, handling direct store delivery loads and credits, and processing reverse logistics and returns. Team members support club policies, procedures, and compliance; work collaboratively and respectfully; maintain a safe and positive environment; and deliver service excellence to members. The role requires regular, predictable, full attendance and may include performing duties in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Successfully complete required training and certification processes.
- Be at least 18 years of age.

- Prior forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Research and annotate receiving reports, including direct-to-club and negative-on-hand reports.
- Process and organize files, receipts, and outbound shipment paperwork.
- Maintain dock security, conduct bag checks, and monitor team-member and visitor movement in receiving and secure areas.
- Ensure compactors are locked and secured, used only by authorized personnel, and that product is properly accounted for.
- Safely operate a forklift and receive merchandise accurately according to company processes and policies.
- Store received merchandise according to product specifications.
- Receive Direct Store Delivery (DSD) loads and process DSD credits as needed.
- Process reverse-logistics information and corporate-office-initiated returns.
- Keep the dock organized and clean.
- Maintain club policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Support club standards, member service, safe working conditions, and teamwork.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
