About The Position

Store Team Members build the company brand by providing excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is a general focus for store positions, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other duties as needed. This role is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. The position involves processing and organizing freight and inventory, stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital orders and pickup or delivery services. Team members provide personalized customer service, develop knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, stay informed about promotions and loyalty programs, and maintain store safety, cleanliness, and legal compliance. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function. The role requires the ability to meet the listed physical demands, including being on your feet for extended periods, handling cases and pallets, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds overhead. Team members may work outdoors in varying weather conditions during the workday.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours per day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
Ability to work with or without accommodations to meet the stated physical requirements.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Maximize product inventory by processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services; drive and make deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, and provide information about products and services to deliver exceptional, personalized service.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
