About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. The Receiver / Merchandiser maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to help ensure a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is generally the focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other duties as needed. The role is internally referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. Delivery duties may be added as an essential job function. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on one's feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally while following company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
