About The Position

All Store Team Members contribute to the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is the primary focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The position is referred to internally as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. Delivery duties may be included if delivery is added as an essential job function. The posting notes that, if coded as seasonal, the role would be short term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role. This posting identifies the worker type as Regular. The hourly pay range is $17.49–$24.49, with actual pay varying by factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; pay will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize and distribute inventory; pull and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, traffic laws, and safety laws.
